Our FAQs are to help you enjoy your stay at Broadhembury – they are not a comprehensive list and should be read in conjunction with our T&C’s and site rules. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to give us a call in Reception on 01233 620859 or email on info@holidaypark.co.uk.
Unless you have booked our ‘dog friendly caravan’, unfortunately our holiday homes are entirely Pet Free. Please remember we have a maximum of 2 dogs allowed in our ‘dog friendly caravan’ at any one time.
Yes, you may light a gas or charcoal [not wood] barbeque, but please make sure it is at least 3m from hedges and fences and always raised off the ground (bricks are supplied at Service Points or you can purchase a stand from reception). Note that barbeques are not provided with the holiday homes, but we do sell disposable barbeques in our shop. Patio furniture is provided. Please be safety aware and keep a bucket of water nearby.
We provide fully equipped kitchens with microwaves, full size ovens, kettle, toasters, etc., and a TV & DVD player in the lounge. Bedding and bed linen is provided, and beds are prepared for your arrival. You’ll need to bring your own towels with you.
In mid & high season we stock fresh diary produce here in our shop, subject to availability. You can order in bakery goods to be delivered daily (not Sundays or Bank Holidays). You can also order fresh meat from our local butcher for next day delivery. Indian, Chinese, Pizza and Fish & Chips can be ordered and delivered to the site.
Fire pits and chiminea are allowed on site if operated in line with the BBQ guidance above. We do not allow open fires of any kind.
Normal hours are 8.30 to 18.00 (high season), 9.00 to 14.00hrs (low season). There is always someone on site and the phone will be manned should you have any queries after these times.
We would advise against it for safety reasons, however if children are using their bikes, they should always cycle the correct way around the road. There’s plenty of space on the playing field for cycling.
Tescos is just 5 minutes away in the car, or 15 minutes walk across meadows and park land – we’ll provide you with a map of the local area when you check in.
Yes, you can. We ask that Friday afternoon deliveries are avoided. Depending on the time of year and occupancy on site, we may ask you to collect your delivery from the Reception area, or we may suggest the delivery van goes directly to your pitch.
Yes, you are welcome to have visitors whilst staying on the Park, but unless by prior arrangement, please only have 1 visiting vehicle at any time as our space is limited. For security & safety, your visitors must register at Reception before proceeding on to the Park. There is a charge for day visitors (stays of longer than 5 hours) of £5 per couple and £8 per family. We ask that all visitors leave the Park by 10pm.
Please be aware of our full cancellation policy, as detailed in our T&C’s, before proceeding with your booking. Broadhembury Caravan & Camping Park is a holiday company and operates to the same industry principles as travel companies, tour operators and airlines. We strongly advise that you have valid holiday insurance in place that will provide suitable cover for accidents, illness, bereavement, transport difficulties as well as extreme weather conditions. In the event that you wish to change or cancel holiday arrangements due to these circumstances we do not make refunds or guarantee transfers but will assist with documentation for processing your claim with your chosen holiday insurance provider.
If you have any further questions in relation to your stay, please do contact us directly, we will be happy to help!
