Our FAQs are to help you enjoy your stay at Broadhembury – they are not a comprehensive list and should be read in conjunction with our T&C’s and site rules. If you have any questions that aren’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to give us a call in Reception on 01233 620859 or email on info@holidaypark.co.uk.
Yes, you are welcome to have visitors whilst staying on the Park, but unless by prior arrangement, please only have 1 visiting vehicle at any time as our space is limited. For security & safety, your visitors must register at Reception before proceeding on to the Park. There is a charge for day visitors (stays of longer than 5 hours) of £5 per couple and £8 per family. We ask that all visitors leave the Park by 10pm.
Our arrival time is usually from 2pm, but if you wish to arrive earlier, please do contact us to see if we can accommodate your request (we will be happy to do so if we can). It is important to let us know your arrival time if it is expected to be after 7pm. If you arrive after 7pm, you may be asked to pitch in our secure late arrival’s area. Please note that we cannot accommodate tents on our late arrivals area.
Absolutely, dogs are most welcome! Just two per pitch, please, and always keep them on a short lead. Please clear up after your dog on ALL areas of the park. Do call in at Reception for details of local dog walks.
Yes, you may light a gas or charcoal [not wood] barbeque, but please make sure it is at least 3m from hedges, fences, touring units and vehicles. BBQs should always be raised off the ground (bricks are supplied at Service Points or you can purchase a stand from reception). Please be safety aware and keep a bucket of water nearby.
Fire pits and chiminea are allowed on site if operated in line with the BBQ guidance above. We do not allow open fires of any kind.
No, it’s not necessary. Please do not leave electrical cables or goods of any kind unattended.
Normal hours are 8.30 to 18.00 (high season), 9.00 to 14.00hrs (low season). There is always someone on site and the phone will be manned should you have any queries after these times.
We would advise against it for safety reasons, however if children are using their bikes, they should always cycle the correct way around the road. There’s plenty of space on the playing field for cycling.
Tescos is just 5 minutes away in the car, or 15 minutes’ walk across meadows and park land – we’ll provide you with a map of the local area when you check in.
Yes, you can. We ask that Friday afternoon deliveries are avoided. Depending on the time of year and occupancy on site, we may ask you to collect your delivery from the Reception area, or we may suggest the delivery van goes directly to your pitch.
